George Soros: Agent of Chaos
WTF #4 "Some men just want to watch the world burn" — Is George Soros that man? Let's find out!
It’s a mad, mad world and this is What The Floww? A weekly newsletter by FinFloww that’ll help you stay sane in a world that seems to be getting more insane by the minute.
The year is 1944. Nazi forces started taking control of Hungary. The land known for its hot springs and marvelous architecture is now under a fascist regime's control.
In the capital city of Budapest resides a small Jewish family — terrified of their religious beliefs as Adolf Hitler has openly threatened to wipe out Jewish people. A mother who runs a small silk business and a father who is a well-known lawyer in the local community are worried about their 13-year-old son György Schwartz. This György would become George when the father decides to drop their Jewish identity and adopts Christianity.
The Nazis barred Jewish children from attending school, and Soros and other schoolchildren had to report to the Jewish council. Due to the influential status of his father and the resources they had, Soros's family remained out of trouble most of the time. When Nazis looked for Jew families to deport, their name was not on the list.
That made Soros realize the power of money — that money is perhaps the only true weapon to survive in the world.
He lived in the era of WW2 — a time of fascist leaders and their expansion. This small backstory is critical for us to understand the mindset of this 92-year-old philanthropist or Old, Rich, and Dangerous person.
If you have been following the news for a while, then you must have some idea about George Soros and his operations all around the globe. He has strong opinions against major world leaders, and he is an advocate for regime change.
Whether it is Russian President Putin or former President of the USA Donald Trump, George Soros has actively denounced these leaders. Now his newfound love affair is to target the Indian Prime Minister — Mr. Narendra Modi.
“I am not in danger. I am the danger!” — George Soros, probably.
Any person with strong political opinions and money at their disposal can become dangerous. Soros is the epitome of this type of person. One can understand his conviction with the fact that he once broke the central bank of one of the most powerful nations in the world.
Sept 16, 1992, is termed “Black Wednesday” in Britain — all thanks to yours truly, George Soros. It was the day when Soros and a few other hedge funds made billions of dollars of profit by shorting the British Pound.
The economy of the UK was already in shackles, so to open up the markets, they decided to join an agreement with other European countries. They set up the Exchange Rate Mechanism to ensure that exchange rate fluctuations between the Euro and other EU currencies do not disrupt economic stability within a single market.
Soros had some sense of the inner workings of the UK government as he was an alumnus of the London School of Economics. He knew that one tiny push could make the whole nation panic, especially after the collapse of the Berlin Wall in 1989. So he borrowed 10 billion dollars and bought short positions against the Pound sterling. The currency was already in its downfall, and this move created a domino effect.
Finally, the Bank of England had to come up in the open market and buy back the Pounds. Soros cleared off his short positions and made a whopping 1.5 billion dollars in profit!
This made his mark in the investment community, and since then, he has been making money by toppling down the world’s economy.
He is also believed to be one of the main protagonists of the Asian financial crisis, which started in Thailand in 1997, leading to the collapse of its currency (the Baht), and it spread to several other countries. South Korea, Indonesia, and Thailand were among the most affected.
Hong Kong, Laos, Malaysia, and the Philippines also got hurt by the slump. Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad accused Mr. Soros of ruining the country's economy with "massive currency speculation".
George Soros started his career by setting up a hedge fund named Quantum Fund. This fund used to invest money of the ultra-rich families of Wallenberg and Rothschild, whose names never come in any Top 10 Rich list.
Hello, Illuminati!
When the entire world focused on living the American dream, Soros was busy milking the other parts of the globe, especially Europe. He was aware of the law of the land and knew about the generational wealth these countries possess.
His hedge fund consistently gave 20% yearly returns for over 40 years. Today he stands at a net worth of 8 billion dollars and has already donated 32 billion dollars to his NGO — Open Society Foundations.
This brings us to the next part of his life, which is bothering almost every country today.
To understand the truth behind NGOs, let's go into the past and remember what Mrs. Indira Gandhi had to say. She often mentioned about foreign intrusion in her government on the record.
India was a playground for CIA and KGB during the 1970s. It was like the whole country was on sale. Journalists, media houses and even ministers were on the payroll of these foreign agencies.
— Vikram Sood, Ex R&AW Chief
The world has changed a lot since then. Countries have formed good diplomatic relations, and no nation tolerates foreign agents on their soil.
So, how can you conduct your espionage operations without any interference from the local government? NGOs!
Open Society Foundations started its operation in India by offering scholarships and fellowships to pursue studies and research at Indian institutions. Generous, right?
No! Actually, this method is directly copied from the KGB Playbook of recruiting agents in foreign countries. Russian foreign agencies used to provide scholarships that helped them build trust among the youngsters so they can use them for their own benefit later.
Don’t believe us? A simple google search can solve all your doubts. Let’s understand this a little more.
Many prominent people in India actively oppose the ruling party and the PM (nothing wrong with that). But do you know what most of them have in common? They are associated with the Open Society Foundations in some way or the other. Many of them have received fellowships from the foundation.
In the last few decades, George Soros has time and again shown his desperation to wage war against the nationalist government in India through various networks funded by him — comprising NGOs, media, authors, etc. He has been following a pattern to subvert democracy, bring about regime changes and interfere in the free decision-making process of voters.
According to some internal documents released after Twitter’s takeover by Elon Musk, it came to light that a group named First Draft News, funded by the Open Society Foundations helped suppress the infamous Hunter Biden story.
This move alone impacted the result of the 2020 US Presidential elections!
In January 2020, the American billionaire committed 1 billion dollars to start a global university to fight nationalists and climate change, calling them twin challenges that threaten the survival of our civilization.
And now, his recent remarks against Adani and PM Modi have again shown his ill intentions of spreading propaganda in the country. Some experts are seeing it as the “Colour Revolution” against India.
Colour revolution is a term used since around 2004 by worldwide media to describe various anti-regime protest movements that took place in Eastern Europe and soviet nations to break down communism.
Even the Chinese President Xi Jinping appealed to Russia, India, and other members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) to cooperate with each other in order to prevent foreign powers from destabilizing their countries by inciting colour revolutions.
For some, he is a hero. For some, he is a villain.
But he describes himself as a capitalist who makes money without worrying about the social consequences of his decisions.
The world is in turmoil, and one cannot ignore people like Soros, who yield the power to ignite war and change regimes.
Do you think one person can change the world? Maybe not.
But one person can surely destroy it!
What do you think about this? Let’s open a healthy discussion in the comments.
Trying to stay sane in a mad world is madness.
